To avoid damage, be sure to remove the sensor before removing the transmission. Remove torque converter access cover. If transmission is being removed for overhaul, remove transmission oil pan, drain fluid and reinstall pan. Remove fill tube bracket bolts and pull tube out of transmission. Retain fill tube O-ring.

My 42RE gave up the ghost and rather than spend the cash on a new trans im going to swap a V8 motor and trans in. With that said, what exactly is involved?
This injector has a 6 port fuel nozzel for incresed flow and better atomization. The Jeep 4.0L engines today need more fuel to balance the air-fuel ratio after adding modifications such as a Stroker Kit and Increesed Compression.
